Meet Grace and Rob. Grace and Rob have made their home in Mumford, just outside the little town of Covington, TN. They reside there with their two dogs, whom they refer to as "the boys." Grace and Rob love their town, so of course they wanted to use local venues for their wedding and reception. The closest local venue was in downtown Covington.

This created some challenges. Although downtown Covington is a charming and beautiful area, choices of event venues are limited. Grace and Rob chose a local church for their ceremony, and, for their reception, rented a space in the Chamber Building that was formerly a retail clothing store. This venue definitely needed some polish. The dated banquet chairs and old tan curtains, covering the cabinets, left need for some creativity.

Another challenge was that Grace and Rob consider their two dogs, "the boys," part of the family and really wanted to incorporate them into their celebration in some way.

Wedding photographer Andrea Zucker did a beautiful job of capturing the whole family in this engagement photo.
The supplies arrived, and it was time to get to work on the reception sight! Dianne had immediately known what she was going to do with this venue after seeing it for the first time.

It all began with the box windows in the front of the building. Dianne saw the windows and envisioned bistros, displaying beautiful gift boxes. Florist, Paula Payton (Payton Perfect Designs), caught the vision and was able to create these beautiful displays. This set the tone as guests entered the front door.

Paula did a beautiful job of incorporating Grace's color scheme into the arrangements as well.

and even having the perfect ribbon to hang the monograms, for the bride and groom's table, was important.

Dianne then needed to update those old banquet chairs. Once she knew Grace's color scheme, she had been able to find the perfect shade of tiffany blue sashes. The covers and sashes updated the chairs and gave the room a formal and classic look.

And remember those closets that were covered by those aged tan curtains, and remember "the boys?" Leave it to Dianne, to take on two challenges at once, and win! Dianne decided to cover the closets in white flowing fabric and hang photos of Grace and Rob's dogs from the top, which Paula covered with greenery.

This area was completely transformed, and Dianne was able to utilize it to bring in that part of Grace and Rob that would have otherwise been missing from the celebration, their dogs!

We love to see both the bride and groom celebrated at a wedding! The dogs are a part of Grace and Rob's hearts. What a great way to include them!

The photos of the dogs added a lot of warmth and joy to the room. The guests really enjoyed them.
